Shouto got hurt on a prayer. Deku doesn't need to be worrying about me, too. I can handle myself.

B-besides. If you got bitten, too, you were hurt! You can't say something like that when you should be recovering.

[Wait hang on.]

You shouldn't even be here right now! Sit down!

[Hajime blinks at that. Mostly her reaction but also at the mention of Shouto. Deku didn't mention it.]

It was a rough night but I'm alright. Davesprite came to my rescue just in time. He was a real hero.

[She gives a small smile, trying to get Kido to relax. She is tired. She's pale but she's fine really.]

The bite is already healing too.

[The word hero almost wounds her. She's trying to figure out why. But at the same time, she doesn't want to think about it. She focuses on Hajime instead.]

Just because it's healing doesn't mean you're okay. You need to rest. [She'll move to try to take Hajime's hand to lead her to the couch. It's clear of blankets or personal things because in her own room, Kido doesn't sleep there.]

You're tired right? [Kido's still tired. And she's still dizzy. And she still feels sick when she thinks about it.] Think about yourself for a second.

[She is tired. She still gets dizzy from sudden movements, thats why she's not skipping around like she usually tends to. She lets Kido take her hand and lead her to the couch. She uses her free hand to removed her phone and NOTE from her back pocket before sitting down. She keeps her phone over the NOTE though. The NOTE is still damamged from Zero nearly crushing it and then stabbing through the cover. It's not as bad, its healing along with Hajime but the damage is still present. Her phone is almost the same size anyway. Looking up from her spot on the couch, she stares at Kido curiously.]

I am. I wanted to see you, Kido-chan! I was worried. But I'm also here because I don't want to be alone either. It's nicer being with a friend!

[Davesprite has tended to her. He's been sweet but he's also had to leave to tend to an event. Hajime was willing to go but he had kept her from doing so. She had tried to find him too but she had been too weak. Besdies that, she doesn't want him to feel guilty or anything. Her finger runs over the spin of the NOTE before she pats the spot next to her.]

Kido-chan. Everyone worries for everybody. You're super important just like I'm important too. If I didn't think of myself, I wouldn't be here right now.

If you'd called, I would've come to you. [Hajime shouldn't have come all the way out here like this. Kido sinks down next to her, close enough that their arms touch. She likes the contact.

She wouldn't have come if Hajime had called. She doesn't want to be outside. She didn't even want to pick up the phone. She spent most of the last two days wanting to disappear.]

If you didn't want to be alone, you should've just asked.

I texted you and I'm here now. So now neither of us are alone. Double Win. Win - Win!

[Hajime giggles, leaning on her and resting her head against Kido's shoulder fondly]

You're hurt too sooooo no matter what one of us would have to meet up with the other.

[Oh. Kido takes a moment before she lifts her arm to put it around Hajime's shoulder. She's frustrated that she came all the way out here, but... She also wants her to rest now. So she just wraps an arm around her and pulls her a little closer.]

I'm not hurt that badly. Don't be stupid.

[Hajime just leans more against Kido, comfortably. She giggles as she closes her eyes and lets out a sigh, relaxing. It's weird not having her usual boundless energy. Maybe resting isn't a bad idea but she doesn't want to fall asleep. It's oddly cozy even despite her own soreness.]

Maybe not but I wanted to be sure. I didn't want you to distance yourself, Kido-chan. It's important to stay close to everyone.

It's not like I'm pushing anyone away. [She's just... locking herself in. That's fine for a little, right? If Deku needs her, she won't resist being summoned, and she won't tell him to get out of his own temple.

She just doesn't want to be a burden on him anymore. She blights him, she can't defend herself, she can't fully control her powers. She doesn't need him trying to take care of that, too.]

You don't have to push anyone away to make distance. Kido-chan, you wouldn't be here otherwise, right?

[She didn't want Kido to put up walls or be alone at all. Kido needs friends to be around her, even if she doesn't know that]

[Kido closes her eyes, tipping her head back against the couch. Honestly, she feels worthless around people like Deku and Shouto. Who are selfless and strong and know what they're doing. People who are really and actually heroes. She could never be like that.]

I'm just trying to figure things out. If I stay here, I can't get into trouble again.

Then I'll stay here with you for a while!

[She's comfortable anyway, resting against Kido. She really should have been resting more. Maybe she is making up for it here.]

You shouldn't leave early, anyway. Don't drain yourself, idiot.

[She says it affectionately???]

[The only response Kido gets is a teasing playful giggle. Hajime knows Kido means well by her words. It's cute. Despite Hajime's original plans of distracting Kido from her thoughts and trying to cheer her up, she's really starting to doze on Kido.]

[Kido blinks when she realizes Hajime's really falling asleep. But she doesn't mind it at all.]

... Do you want to lay down?

Mmn? It's okay.

[She moves her NOTE and phone to her right hand as she uses her left to rub at her eyes a bit. It's not until Kido mentions it that Hajime really notices the weight of her sleepiness. She moves a bit to sit up so she isn't leaning so much on Kido. Maybe that will wake her up more.]

I brought a lot of sugary tasty things too. They're free reign!

[That might be easier if Kido was going to let her go. But her arm isn't budging.]

If you're tired, you can rest. That's fine with me.

[Hajime blinks at that, glancing to the arm and then back to Kido.]

You got hurt too. You should be resting. Or eating. R and R.

I am resting. What else would I be doing? [She's just sitting there. And Hajime should be too :<]

I donno but I came here to take care of you!

[She uses her free hand to reach over and poke Kido in the cheek]

This is good enough. [She looks away, turning pink again.]

Are you sure? I feel like I could do more! Kido-chan! Kido-chan! KidoKidoKido-chann

[See what you did Kido, now she's more awake. Poke poke poke~]

I should've just let you fall asleep... [She's grumbling but she's not actually angry.]

I wasn't falling asleep. I was resting my eyes! It's not my fault you're comfy!

[Hajime giggles, nuzzling her shoulder playfully]

[She POINTEDLY looks away now.] I think that's just how tired you are.
